FREIDA (VIOLET) AND ARNIE (ANDY)

Freida and Arnie are doing great. They are spayed and neutered and got their last series of shots.

I will not be looking for the $100.00 to be sent back to me. Please consider it a donation – but I’m assuming you might want to note that they have been spayed/neutered.

They’re adorable and love San Diego!

I decided I’d write a little blurb about Freida and Arnie and send some photos for the website.  Feel free to use if you choose!

On the 4th of July I made a spontaneous decision to get on a plane and surprise my sister, Lois Mueller.  We hadn’t seen each other since COVID and I had been going through some really hard personal stuff – so it was just the right thing at the right time. What I didn’t know was that I needed two kitties – and she happened to be fostering three of them.

Freida and Arnie (Violet and Andy) were found along with Otter on the side the road. They were about 3 weeks old. Lois and Pam bottle fed them and helped them grow into beautiful, people-loving creatures.

I decided that I should adopt Freida and Arnie while I was visiting – because – well – life is very short and they were beautiful. I cleared it with Delta Airlines, went to the humane society and filled out the paperwork, and the next thing I knew I was on a plane home to San Diego with these little babies. Lois and Pam adopted Otter – so now all 3 had great new homes.

That was the 4th of July. I didn’t realize until mid-flight that exactly one year ago I had lost my last cat.  Comet died on July 4th, 2020.  So it seemed perfect.

Freida and Arnie are named after my grandma and grandpa. Arnie is getting a big nose and has large paws – which makes sense because his name sake had huge hands and, well, a big nose!  (sorry Grandma…)  They are thriving! They’ve had all their shots, survived their spay and neuter and are an absolute joy and treasure.

Thank you Burnett Humane Society for making the adoption process painless and for caring about little forgotten creatures on the side of the road!  My life will always be better because of it!
