KIWI

By Pam Cunningham | March 27, 2019

We are so grateful to have made the decision to adopt Kiwi into our family.  We have decided to keep her name and she responds to us when we call her.  She has been a great addition to our family and makes us smile.  She is very playful and chases us on our heals going…

ZELDA (PRINCESS ZELDA)

By Pam Cunningham | March 19, 2019

Princess Zelda on her throne.  Kept the name  Zelda, she likes it, and is doing very well.  In early evening, her alias is wild child.  At vet visit she weighed in at 26 lbs , at about 11.5 weeks.  She is taking after the lab, and up to almost 6 cups food/day.

BALOO (ODIN)

By Pam Cunningham | March 18, 2019

Odin is now renamed Baloo. We decided on this name because he reminds us of the gray bear on the original cartoon version of Disney’s Jungle Book. He’s gentle, playful, and affectionate. And his favorite sleep position is stretched out on his back! He’s a great addition to our family.

BUDDY (HANK)

By Pam Cunningham | March 17, 2019

Hank’s high intelligence is almost matched by his independence. Luckily he is easily motivated by food, so he is a quick learner. He seems quite young so he plays intensely and then sleeps soundly. He especially likes to nap in the sunlight and sleep evenings in our laps. He doesn’t respond well to his name,…

TRIPP

By Pam Cunningham | March 17, 2019

We adopted Tripp! We kept his name. We think he is a trip! Ha ha. He is such a character! He’s loving, curious and so funny. He is a wonderful boy! He gets along great with his brother Marc (on the top of the cat climber). They are about the same age and inseparable. They…

DAISY

By Pam Cunningham | February 27, 2019

Daisy is doing great! She’s really settled in with our other dogs. She is learning how to behave around our cats as she seemed to have no previous exposure to cats. She still thinks of herself as a lapdog, but is learning to stay off furniture and other new commands. She definitely LOVES the snow…

LEXA (CHROMIA) AND MURPHY (MORTY)

By Pam Cunningham | February 27, 2019

We adopted Lexa (Chromia) three weeks ago and Murphy (Morty) a week later, when it was clear that she needed a friend. It only took a couple of days before they were playing and napping together. We’re so happy to have them both!

MINNIE (JUBILIEE)

By Pam Cunningham | February 26, 2019

I adopted Jubilee and renamed her. Her new name is Minnie, to which she responds very well.   Minnie is very affectionate and playful. She let me pet her on the 3rd day she was with me. I am very happy to be able to take care of Minnie.

HERSHEY (HOSHI)

By Pam Cunningham | February 26, 2019

We have decided to change Hoshi’s name to Hershey (because she has a really cook brown color like dark chocolate). She is so loving, she loves cuddling and chasing her tail. We bought her a nice cat bed but she insists on laying in my puzzle box, or in our hat and mitten bin and…
