JER BEAR (JERRY)

Dear Pam, thank you for following up on “Jerry.”

Since we adopted “Jerry” we have renamed him and we now call him Jer Bear. I understand that Jer Bear was born at the shelter and lived there up until his adoption at about 6 months of age. We absolutely adore him! We adopted Jer Bear after the passing of our 18 year old Cat. Our cat passed away 2 years ago and because he was such a wonderful cat, we were reluctant to adopt another cat. We felt pretty certain that we would not be so lucky again. We could not have been more wrong. Jer Bear is a fun, affectionate, social cat. He gets along exceedingly well with our 2 year old springer spaniel. Within just a couple days after joining our family, he and our dog became best buddies. I am so glad that we adopted Jer Bear. It is very clear that he was well cared for and loved at the shelter. I can’t thank the staff enough at Burnett County Humane Society for caring for Jer Bear for our family until we found him.

Please share this with the staff and volunteers at the shelter. Let them know that “Jerry” is doing well and that we appreciate the care that they provided for him. He is a happy cat!

Thank you!
