Snowflake was not friendly but something about her drew me to her. I came and sat with her 4 times before adopting. The 3rd time I closed my eyes and put my face up to her cage. I could feel her smelling and exploring me. I was touched. On my last visit she sat up in her cage and watched me walk out–she had chosen me. I thought she would hide for a week and that would have been fine with me but that didn’t happen. She came out in the evening and sat next to me on a blanket. I didn’t pet her because I wasn’t going to push her. The next day she was walking around like she knew she was Home! She is a perfect angel and at 14 years old her favorite thing to do is watch cat videos on my big screen. I love her and am glad she decided to take a leap of faith to trust me.
