Thanks for checking in! We adopted Squeakers and didn’t change his name. He had a ruff start as he had a respiratory infection when we picked him up. That was a whole thing to get through thanks to your help with antibiotics. However, he didn’t like us too much in the beginning because he had to have meds twice daily! Since then he seems to have been adjusting well to our house, he has lots of toys, loves the ones with feathers on them. He’s also been spoiled with a cat perch, scratching post, and some good treats.  If you asked him what his favorite thing to do is he’d say: “I love to be let out into one of the two porches. It’s here I can hear the birds, watch them, I also see bunnies, squirrels, and right now the occasional turtle laying eggs.” He’s doing well, and we love having him be part of our family.
