Hi Pam!  It’s nice to hear from you! I have attached a few pictures of Lola here (we kept her name!) and here is a letter from her to the Human Society. I will also be sending a second email with four additional pictures. Thanks so much!

Dear Humane Society Friends,

I am writing to let you know that I am doing GREAT!  I settled into my new home in the country very quickly and I love it here so much.  I have three new little humans to call my own and they give me so much love. My favorite time of the day is when I get to snuggle with them during bedtime prayers.  I also have a new Great Dane friend named Storm.  She is huge!  And a new cat friend named Horsie. 

Since arriving at my new home, I have been learning a lot of important things.  I have learned that I am not allowed to chase chickens, deer, or that pesky cottontail that likes to sneak into the yard during the early morning hours. But I still like to keep an eye out.  I also learned what a bear is!  I did my best beagle bark to let my humans know that I smelled him.  They were very pleased J  

While I do take a lot of comfy naps on the couch, I also get to do extra fun things like ride in the car to take my little humans to school, play games in the yard and relax on the porch. My little humans also like to work on my training….sit, stay, shake…and I get treats every time! 

I miss all of you at the Humane Society but I sure am happy to be in my new home. Tell all of my old friends I say hello and be sure to check out the pictures I have included here!
