We rescued Sawyer and Swamper in Sept 2024. They are now Buford and Bandit. These two are so amazing. To say they are thriving is an understatement. They are rambunctious and mischievous but also so very loving and sweet. They chew on anything and everything – we learned on day 1 that nothing is safe from these two!  They love going to bed at night in their cozy kennels. We’ve settled into a nice feeding routine – separately- so they both get full bellies. They love the added protein mom adds to their meals every day. They have the run of our home and property and prefer to spend most of their day outside wrestling and exploring (with their GPS collars on).

Here are some of their personality traits:

Buford – loves to ‘play’ with mice, quirky long legs, loves to explore outside, passive, sweet, loves to drink water

Bandit – the alpha of the pair, super affectionate, attention hog, likes to clean his brother’s ears

We couldn’t be happier that these two joined the family. We think they are pretty happy too.
