After a slow introduction, which frustrated Cassie (Castiel) but was good for my older cat, Patrick, they now get along well. Castiel has a few nicknames, including Cassie, Junior, and Jun-Jun. He and Patrick look a lot alike, so “Junior” and “Senior” quickly became nicknames for both of them. (Patrick is 14.) Cassie’s favorite activities include “morning olympics” with Patrick and a feather wand, watching squirrels at the bird feeder, and bounding off the bed if I don’t get up at the regular time. There has been one challenging thing: I have not been able to manage his skin condition well. The vet and I have tried everything from Cerenia to steroids, creams galore. Could you tell me what the shelter had used? When I had adopted him, they said he had done well with that. Thank you.
