Carolina and Morty are doing well. Carolina is a barn cat and she lives in our garage. We don’t see her very often. After about 6 weeks, she began to not immediately hide from us. She keeps her distance, but likes to watch us from up high in the garage sometimes. It is always a treat to see her outside running around.

Morty is a fun cat to have around the house. He is always moving during the day, but likes to sleep with us at night. Morty was a sick kitty when we adopted him. We treated him with antibiotics, and they have helped tremendously. He still has congestion sometimes, but with the humidifier he does fine. He has improved very much since we first brought him home. He also gets along very well with our husky, Koda. They like to sleep together on the couch sometimes.

Overall, it is going very well with the two cats that we adopted from HSBC. I want to get another one, but my husband needs some convincing, (even though I am the one that cleans the litter box haha).
