CLEO

October 29, 2019

I called Cleo’s adoptive parent, Jeannie, to get an update. Jeannie says that her other cat, Sam, was a little reluctant to Cleo’s arrival. They are tolerating each other, but Jeannie puts Cleo in a bedroom overnight to avoid any possible fights. The other day, she noticed Sam waiting outside the door of the bedroom Cleo was in and Cleo’s paws came through the bottom of the door. That’s a good sign. Cleo loves when Jeannie plays her keyboard and sits by and listens. So far, Cleo has not been much of a lap cat and shows no interest in snuggling, but I told Jeannie it probably has a lot to do with the two cats getting used to each other. Jeannie is very happy with her feline family and I can tell by my conversation with her that Sam and Cleo are lucky cats to have such a loving and caring owner. I am sure that, given more time, Sam and Cleo will be best friends!
