HI Pam! Yes Jasper is now known as Jay Z. he has been real good! It has been a while since I had a kitten so it was a new learning process for me as dealing with a younger cat but having other cats over the years I know how they like to explore so I knew it would be only a matter of time before he would be on the kitchen counter but responded well to me raising my voice a little to let him know that is off limits and he would come over to me right after like asking what did I do wrong? I just pet him a bit so he knew it was not the end of the world. I have spoiled him with some small pieces of steak and small servings of ice cream once in a while to go along with the dry food. He enjoys watching the squirrels and birds outside and his toys inside so he is very active and will take a couple of short naps during the day and goes to bed at night when I do and sleeps through the night and gets up when I do. He has never had an accident as far as not using the litter box. He has been excellent with that! He sits in my lap or alongside my chair much like a puppy or dog would so I think we are bonding well. I really think he really missed his buddies at the humane society at first but has adapted well to his new home! I will send you a picture of him in the coming weeks.
