YOGI (BUCK)

December 5, 2020

We adopted a German Shorthair Pointer found running loose on Taylor Lake Rd. in late September.

You named him BUCK and posted his picture on your Facebook page.

We fell in love with him at first sight and filled out your adoption form immediately.

We were the LUCKY family selected to adopt him.

On Oct.10th we drove the 6 1/2 hours up to your shelter to meet him and finalize everything, also changed his name to YOGI.

About a week after getting him home he developed a bad case of “kennel cough.”

Our Vet took care of that with several weeks of antibiotics, cough medicine and plenty of rest.

He is doing fantastic now and loves playing tug-o-war with his older brother YETI.

YOGI just loves to be cuddled, hugged, kissed and getting belly rubs.

He sleeps right next to me at bedtime with his head on my pillow.

We had been thinking about getting another dog so that our YETI would have a pal, then we find your post.

It was like a “match made in heaven,” as if he was supposed to be ours. WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

Thank you for allowing us to adopt this wonderful boy.

Attached a couple pics of big brother YETI & YOGI playing in the back yard.
