HSBC recently celebrated a significant milestone: five years of operation at the Peggy Schilling Animal Adoption and Education Center. The anniversary was marked with the annual Tails on the Trails event, which took place in August.

The event was a great success, with community members coming together to support the humane society’s mission. Attendees had the opportunity to walk the shelter dogs on the trails, enjoy treats like anniversary cake, strawberry shortcake, and brats, and witness dog train demonstrations. Visitors also toured the shelter, met with board members, volunteers, and met the adorable cats and kittens in HSBC’s care.
