I’ve always known my path in life, ever since I was a little girl. My mind consistently revolved around one idea: working with animals. I always expected a wide variety because I’m not afraid of much. Little did I know, that come February of 2022, a position was up for grabs at HSBC, and I jumped on it! I quickly fell in love with the job, and all the “duties” that came along with the territory. I learned SO many new things, and continue to do so every day. Myself along with the animals in our care feed off of one another, we learn from each other, we adapt to whatever each individual animals’ needs are, and we share a lot of emotions. While most of them are happy tears, and all smiles, of course we see the sad stories, and have some not so happy endings. If I can help change one animals life a day, then I’m doing something good. From teaching a new puppy to sit, or to holding their paw and not letting them be alone in their final moments, its the animals’ that reap the benefits of our care. That is why I am here.
