We adopted Trixie, the cutest six toed being around! We debated her new name and with Newoh wanting Jewel, and mom wanting Jubilee, she now has the beautiful name of Jewelbilee. We call her Jube and Baby Cheese.

When we first brought her home she spat at both our dogs and other cat, making her tiny little self an obvious terror, she successfully accomplished no animal can come near her. Now, she is playing, but making sure the dogs still keep their distance. She follows Nerm like it’s her job. The purring hardly ceases, and she made it to the top of this families charts immediately. Her six toes on every foot has been a constant speculation and amusement. She basically has thumbs on her two front pads, so she literally will hold our hand. We love her so much, thank you everyone who volunteers and works at the Humane Society of Burnett Co!! The work you do, the care you give… From the beginning, God told us to tend to the animals, a heart of selfless devotion to a lesser being who is dependent. You do that every day.
