OLIVE

Olive is doing fantastic!

It took her a week or so to settle in but she has certainly made herself at home now!

She went from a scared, timid girl who didn’t seem to know how to play and needed a lot of encouragement and coaxing to a bundle of energy who loves to play and explore the yard and everything and anything else her nose can get to.

She is quite the cuddler and will crawl into a lap if allowed. She has taken well to her older sister Kahlua and they play daily.

Even though Kahlua picked her I don’t think our family could have asked for a better fit. She could care less about the cat and the bunny and I don’t have to worry at all. She is super smart and already knows many commands (although the teenager in her likes to push back!). She has already been trained to our invisible fence so she has the whole run of the backyard.

I think one of the best parts of the past month has been watching her go from sleeping curled into a tiny ball, to stretching out on the couch, knowing that she feels safe and comfortable with us.

Rest assured HSBC that Olive has found her forever home and will be loved and cared for until the end of her time here, then we will look forward to seeing her at the Rainbow Bridge! She is ours!
