Join us for Tails on the Trails. Stop by the Humane Society of Burnett County on August 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a fun open house at the shelter.
Walk the trails with a shelter dog, bring your own dog for a stroll, tour the shelter, and meet the amazing dogs and cats waiting for loving homes.

Thinking about adopting? This is a perfect time to meet your match. Interested in fostering? Come learn about our foster program and the support we provide, including help from our training team.

We’ll also have a few sweet treats to share while they last.

This event is also a chance to meet the dedicated people behind the scenes — the ones who walk, comfort, train, clean, care, and show up every day for the animals.

Pictured here is Heather, one of our dedicated kennel techs, walking Ginny on the shelter trails. Ginny was recently featured as a dog struggling with anxiety from shelter life, and thanks to the kindness of this community, she is now in a foster-to-adopt home.
