We adopted a cute little tri-colored scruffy puppy by the name of Lila. We have since renamed her Riley. She is a real sweetheart with an outgoing personality and she loves her people. So far. She’s bonded pretty well, especially with me and with my husband. She doesn’t see my son very often because he’s at school and then hibernates in his room to do his homework, so she’ll still bark at him a little bit. She barks at strangers and apparently is terrified of my brother’s golden retriever and started ankle biting him and barking at him yesterday while I was at work. I found out when I got home. She is using puppy pads pretty well in our entryway, she refuses to go potty outside. I don’t think she quite understands the concept. I am off all next week and will work on transitioning her to outside.  She has her first vet appointment today and then we will schedule her spay. Overall she is a real sweetheart and I love her to pieces.
