Good morning!  We kept her name Zoey, however she has acquired nicknames such as, ‘Zaboomafoo, Kanga Zoo, Zoo Zoo, Zoe Zoe and Baby girl.’

We are pretty positive she is part shepherd and part kangaroo. She has 2 big dog brothers, one who she is inseparable with, Jax (who she is pictured with). He is teaching her some of his husky ways, especially talking, and making sure even the branches are not allowed to move with the wind. The other one is an old man, Gunner, that just tries to stay out of her excited, hopping and tail whipping ways. She fell right into place being the little sister, and knows boundaries with them both, as all 3 have their own space to go if they want quiet and some peace.

She has 6 older human brothers (2 still at home, but they all come home for Sunday suppers), all of which she loves so much that she pees a bit when they come home. And a Nana and Papa that live next door that come and visit often, they spoil her with toys and love just as they do all the big boys. (Especially papa. He even sneaks treats when he thinks no one is looking.)

She has been SO easy to train! We’ve had to work with her really hard on food greediness, and still working on it. She is not aggressive in ANY way, but she would try to take a treat from her brother’s mouths if she ate hers and they were still chewing. That particular behavior is almost broken. And getting into the garbage is another habit, but given her early beginnings we done blame her! We just continue to be consistent with feeding times and lots of love.

Can’t imagine a time without her in our lives.
