CESAR (JOEY)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Hello Pamela, we are the family that adapted Joey and his name is now Cesar. He is a happy and healthy guy who has gained over 4 lbs since we picked him up. His brother and him spend most of their days playing outside, napping, playing inside, and watching the deer and squirrels outside. He…

RUBY (NATALIE)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Ruby is doing so well, thriving!  She has come out of her shell, and loves to go on walks and be outdoors. Her favorite treats are chicken jerkey and snausages. Ruby gets along well with other dogs and loves playing with my best friend’s dog. Will attach some pictures and videos to send you when I get a…

NELLIE

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Oh goodness, Nellie is amazing. Of course she is still cautious about new experiences, but has blossomed otherwise. Her first vet appointment went great and she is scheduled to be spayed April 13. Everyone in our friend/family group has told us how very lucky we are to get such a great puppy. Thank you for allowing us to adopt a beautiful…

MISS CAPTAIN

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

I recently adopted Miss Captain from you. She is doing great! It took her a few days to acclimate to the new surroundings, but she now fits in perfectly with our family. We stuck with her original name – “Miss Captain.” It was too unique of a name to make any changes.

MAX/MAXIMO/MAXWELL/MAX-A-MILLION/PUPPERONI (MAX)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Max is still Max (or Maximo, Maxwell, Max-a-million, Pupperoni ). He’s a big boy, weighing 36 pounds at his vet appointment last week. Not fat though, it’s all muscle! I’ve attached a couple of pictures. He settled in right away. He potty trained really easy and tolerates his crate. He is scared of vehicles and gets anxious on car…

BANJO (BRAVO)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

We adopted Bravo and have changed his name to Banjo. He was so shy and timid when we first brought him home. He would not move from the stair landing where he could see everything. Slowly he started laying on the floor right by the stairs, then a little closer to the living room, and a little closer.…

MOON/MOONSHADOW (PRANCER)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Thanks for volunteering at the shelter!! Her name was changed to Moon (Moonshadow, officially) when we adopted her. She actually will respond to her new name. She LOVES my oldest son, my husband and my five-year-old daughter (who has actually managed to dress her up like a lion without any hesitation from Moon). She’s ok…

KOKO (DIXIE)

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I do not check email very often. We did change Dixie’s name to KoKo. Everything is going great with her. Such a loving cat. One of her favorite things to do is attack the yarn while my wife sits and knits. Koko enjoys napping in front of the big…

JOEY

By Pam Cunningham | April 19, 2021

Zoey is fantastic. She is an absolute joy to share life with. She loves finding sticks outside and sneaking them inside to play. She is mystified by leaves blowing around and wants to “catch em all.” She plays hard, runs hard, and loves harder than any other dog I’ve had the pleasure to be around.…
