WINNIE

Spoke to Winnie’s new owner, Douglas. They kept Winnie’s name because she seemed to respond to it. Winnie now lives on a farm where she has been good with the chickens and cats. She’s a little leery of the cows. It took Winnie about a week to not be lifted into the truck every time they took her for a ride. She jumps right in now! If Winnie is left alone in the house, she gathers up all the shoes and puts them on the couch. She doesn’t chew them, just puts them on the couch. Douglas thinks Winnie might have been abused because if you make any sudden movements or loud noises, she cowars. She didn’t like the food that was sent home with her. Douglas even tried to bribe Winnie with hot dogs in her food, only to find out that Winnie picked the hot dogs out and left the food. Winnie LOVES Nina (Douglas’ wife), and keeps an eye on her. She doesn’t stray far from Nina, when Nina’s around. Winnie has found her home and loves being on the farm. We are so happy for her!
