MURRAY (JACK)

Our big boy Murray, formerly known as Jack, is enjoying the good life of daily walks and energetic play with his neighborhood dog friends and those at the dog park. He has come so far in the 2 months since his adoption. At first, he was so afraid of bicyclists that he would panic and nearly back out of his leash. Even a toddler peddling by on training wheels turned him into a shivering mess. Now nothing causes this 9-month-old pup concern.

Though we were a bit apprehensive about his size, we now enjoy watching him stretch his over 6-foot body to enjoy a belly rub or fully occupy the length of the couch. He is rapidly gaining weight and filling out his lanky frame.

He is learning manners for greeting people and pets, how to walk on the leash by our side, to chew only his toys, and to respect the boundaries of his guinea pig sisters. He has been a rock star regarding potty training and hasn’t had one mistake and he sleeps the day away when he is home alone causing no harm. Just this week he began picking and eating cherry tomatoes from my pots on the deck. (Not so happy about him finding his inner gardener.)

We are so happy he has become a part of our family! Thank you so much HSBC for supporting him and being the bridge connecting us.
