Nala’s Grandma:
Hi there! I cc’d my son Dylan, as he is Nala’s official owner. He can fill you in on how she is doing and how much she is loved. I’ll add a couple of my favorite pictures, and he can add more if he wants.
Nala’s Owner:
I apologize for the late reply. Unlike my ability to respond to emails, Nala is doing very well! She is still afraid of our enclosure area outside meant for going to the bathroom, so I have been taking her on 3-4 walks a day to get her some exercise as well as get her to go potty (lol). My friend and I are currently building her a fence so she will have a big yard to play in. I’m so excited for her to see it when it’s done! She started off sleeping on the floor of my room, but now she happily takes my entire bed for herself. She did give us a worry with a stomach infection, but I took her to the emergency vet, got some meds, and followed up with her primary vet and she is doing much better now! I also have her on some good dewormers, anti-flea/tick chews, as well as some hip and joint supplements. She is truly the sweetest girl and lives for snuggles and kisses. She’s even started to have some zoomie sessions where she tears up and down our house. It makes me very happy to see her coming out of her shell. She’s still kind of skittish around garbage trucks and (of all things) our charcoal grill. However, due to some exposure and my demonstrating that it’s okay and nobody will ever hurt her, she seems to be getting more comfortable. She’s only “chased” the cat a handful of times and has never shown any aggression.
Nala is the sweetest dog I have ever met and she brings me so much joy, I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to adopt her! I’ll respond to this email with some pictures I’ve taken of her
(Picture Below) After her day at the spa! The guy said he has been doing this for 10 years and there has only been one other dog with more hair than Nala! She looks so pretty and more comfortable.
